My speech is about drug use.
Good afternoon students and welcome. Today I’m going to be talking about Drug use. I am talking about drugs not being used at the olympics.
Do you really think that athletes taking part in the Olympics need to take drugs? Obviously no.
A lot of the athletes in the London 2012 Olympics take drugs. The International Olympic Committee first introduced drug use controls at the 1968 Winter Olympics. Drug use should be banned again instead of having checkpoints. More people pass the test but you might not realize they still take drugs. Dimitris Chondrokoukis the Greek world indoor high jump champion and one of the main rivals to Britain’s Robbie Grabarz for the Olympic gold, has been withdrawn from the Games and faces a two-year ban after failing a drug test for an anabolic steroid, it was announced on Thursday. Do athletes in the olympics really win medals because they train hard, or do they win medals because of the different drugs they use. Is it really worth taking drugs. I think drugs are a waste of time because you can die from it, and you sometimes won’t get a chance to compete in the olympics because you failed a drug test, lastly drug companies maybe put ingredients that kill you and more.
I absolutely think that athletes that take drugs can get killed and a big cheater.Here I have a picture of some of the drugs that athletes take. heard terrible news that a lady came first but she cheated because she took drugs so Valerie Adams got gold. Now the lady that took drugs won’t be able to participate in the olympics for are long time. The reason why my speech is about drugs is because I’m trying to stop athletes taking drugs so they can have fun taking part in the olympics. Its really not nice to get kicked out of the olympics because you cheated by taking drugs.
In conclusion I strongly feel that drugs should not be used at the olympics. It causes a lot of harm to your body. I hope you enjoyed my story and thank you for listening to my speech about drug use.

Celia, your speech is very interesting and very true. I also believe that drugs shouldn't be used in the Olympics. They use drugs to make themselves more stronger and wide awake. If you joined the Olympics and your drug test had failed what would you do?
I would be really a shamed of myself and disappointed. How about you?
